Park Local Development Corporation, or PLDC, announced Thursday that Emergency and Disaster Microloans are now available as part of its Revolving Loan Fund portfolio.

The new microloans are up to $10,000 and are available to businesses in Livingston and Park County for working capital to help overcome the economic injury of a declared emergency, according to a news release.

“We are doing our best to assist local businesses through this crisis, and we are hopeful that these microloans can help stabilize our economy,” Cyndy Rigler, PLDC board president, said in a statement.

To qualify for consideration, business must show economic injury due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses must submit a completed loan application and upload a copy of the most recent federal income tax return. Additional information may be necessary to process loan applications, the release said.

Applications can be submitted online at apply.parklocal.org. The PLDC Loan Committee, comprised of local financial and business leaders, will evaluate applications. Applications will be reviewed beginning April 23.
